The Dundas West Festival is an annual celebration of music, arts, and community.  It takes place on Dundas Street West from Ossington Street to Landsdowne Avenue, covering 12 city blocks in Toronto. Its goals are to bring community members together as well as to draw visitors to the area to explore the neighbourhood’s shops, food, and rich cultural diversity.

Join us on June 1st and 2nd, 2018!

As part of its programming, there will be five performance areas with two major stages for international and local artists, including those from Canada, Portugal, Brazil, Cuba and Colombia. The festival also features free music and lessons, poetry readings, yoga classes, and visual art exhibits. The first day will have an emphasis on evening entertainment while the second day will feature many family-friendly events.

Many local businesses have participated in the festival, including over 40 licensed patios and more than 200 unique local vendors. Last year’s estimated attendance was approximately 70,000+ people. Since its start, the festival has had increasing attendance each year as we have built a reputation as a culturally rich festival that celebrates local talent while showcasing cutting-edge international artistic projects. This year’s festival expansion is expected to bring even more vendors and visitors to the community.
